Health Administrator

The Warrick County Health Administrator duties include, but are not limited to: supervises, directs and coordinates the activities of the Health Department personnel; coordinates the preparation of budget requests to all necessary boards and commissions, and administers department budget upon approval; reports progress and use of grants to the Board and Health Officer, reviews proposals for renovations, alterations, and general maintenance of department facilities; and maintains official records and documents, and ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Per IC Code 16-20-1-4, the Warrick County Health Officer will appoint the selected candidate to the position of Health Administrator, subject to approval by the County Executive (Board of Commissioners).


License and certifications requirements: Possession of a baccalaureate degree in accounting and human resources or related field, masters preferred, or an M.D. with significant management experience.


This is a Full-time position with an annual salary of $63,297.00 and is eligible for County Health Benefits and Paid Time Off (PTO).


Scales Lake Park

  • PT Laborer: $15/hour- The laborer will assist with cleaning and maintaining the park's grounds by weed eating, trimming, removing debris and trash, and performing minor repairs to facilities.


  • PT Gatekeeper: $13/hour- A gatekeeper is responsible for greeting park visitors, collecting payments and fees at the main gate, making camping reservations, and assisting in other administrative duties as assigned. The ideal candidate must be able to work evenings and weekends and holidays with fluctuating hours in the Spring and Summer as business hours are extended, flexibility is also needed for weekday shifts. Computer skills and knowledge are highly preferred.


  • Asst Beach Manager (summer position): $15- The Assistant Beach Manager will assist the Beach Manager with supervising the lifeguards, and concession workers, enforces rules and regulations in relation to safety and assists with training of beach staff. Must be at least 18 years of age.



Highway Laborer

A few duties for this position include: operates various tools in maintaining department grounds and removing weeds and brush from rights-of-way, such as chainsaws, mowers, rakes, weed trimmer and chipper; loads, unloads equipment, materials and supplies; maintains cleanliness of department buildings, including emptying trash containers, removing litter and sweeping floors; periodically assists in patching roads as assigned and performs traffic control/flagging at work sites, including setting signs, warning markers, barricades and cones; completes preventative maintenance on equipment and tools such as cleaning, lubricating and sharpening blades; and assists in installing drainage structures. The full-time position has a starting wage of up to $19.58/hour and is eligible for County Health Benefits and Paid Time Off (PTO).
