BUILDING PERMITS

The Warrick County Building Department is responsible for enforcing building codes and regulations in Warrick County, Indiana. The department is responsible for reviewing plans, issuing permits, and conducting inspections to ensure that all construction in the county meets the minimum standards set by state and local laws. The goal of the building department is to protect the health and safety of the public by ensuring that all buildings in the county are safe, structurally sound, and meet the requirements for accessibility and energy efficiency.

• Residences must submit a copy of blueprints or computer generated drawing of house plans at time of application.
  
• Residential & Commercial drawings/plans cannot be larger than 11 x 17 for us to be able to scan them.
  
• Commercial Building Permits must have a copy of the drawings/plans or submitted on a disc in pdf format & a State Construction Design Release.
