The Board of Commissioners of Warrick County, Indiana, is taking applications for an Assistant Administrator/HR Manager.  The job description for this position is being developed, but education/experience is as follows:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 This person will report to the Warrick County Commissioners and the Warrick County Administrator.

 General Summary of Position:  Develops policy and directs and coordinates human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, employee services, annual budgeting, etc.

 This will be an Exempt Position, starting salary on January 1, 2020, will be $47,288.00, paid generally over twenty six (26) pay periods annually.

 Basic Benefits Package for Full-Time Warrick County Employees for Calendar Year 2019

 Health Insurance:  Eligible thirty (30) days after first date of employment
   • Coverage provided by Meritain, HDHP for employees under 65, POS/PPO plan for employees over 65

 Health Savings Account (HSA) County Contributions:  Eligible with health coverage enrollment.
   • Quarterly contributions based on health coverage enrollment
      ➢ Employee Only:  $40.01/quarter; $160.04 annual
      ➢ Employee+Spouse:  $97.00/quarter; $388.00 annual

 Basic Life & AD&D Insurance:  Eligible first of the month after start date
   • Coverage provided by Mutual of Omaha, $25,000 in coverage provided by Warrick County

 

Life/AD&D, Short Term Disability & Long Term Disability by Mutual of Omaha:  Eligible the first of the month after one full calendar month of employment
   • Voluntary employee funded benefit, cost based on coverage selected

Dental Insurance:  Eligible the first of the month after one full calendar month of employment
   • Voluntary employee funded benefit
   • Coverage provided by HRI/Dental Health Resources, tiered based on coverage
      ➢ Employee Only:  $26.60 monthly premium ($13.30 bi-weekly deduction)
      ➢ Employee+1: $56.20 monthly premium ($28.10 bi-weekly deduction)
      ➢ Employee+2 or more:  $101.56 monthly premium ($50.78 bi-weekly deduction)

 Vision Insurance by Mutual of Omaha:  Eligible the first of the month after one full calendar month of employment
   • Voluntary employee funded benefit, tiered cost based on coverage
      ➢ Employee Only:  $6.28 monthly premium ($3.14 bi-weekly deduction)
      ➢ Employee+Spouse:  $14.44 monthly premium ($7.22 bi-weekly deduction)
      ➢ Employee+Children:  $16.00 monthly premium ($8.00 bi-weekly deduction)
      ➢ Employee+Family:  $24.44 monthly premium ($12.22 bi-weekly deduction)

 

Aflac Cancer, Hospital, Group Accident, Critical Illness:  Eligible the first of the month after one full calendar month of employment
   • Voluntary employee funded benefit, cost based on coverage selected

 Allstate:  Coverage mirrors Aflac offerings, same eligibility conditions
   • Voluntary employee funded benefit, cost based on coverage selected

 Boston Mutual:  Term Life Insurance, available at open enrollment only

 Holiday:  15 paid holidays per calendar year

 Vacation:  Based on years of continuous full-time service
      ➢ 6 months:  5 working days (restrictions apply depending on hire date)
      ➢ 1 year:  10 working days
      ➢ 7 years: 15 working days
      ➢ 10 years: 20 working days
      ➢ 20 years: 25 working days

Sick Leave:  Earned at the rate of one day per calendar month, max 45 days’ accumulation

 Bereavement Leave:  Paid leave of 5 days, 3 days, or 2 days depending on relationship of deceased to employee (e.g. 5 days upon death of spouse, parent, stepparent, child, stepchild, grandchild or any family member residing in the same household)

Retirement:  
   • Employee enrolled in Public Employee Retirement Fund (PERF) within the Indiana Public Retirement System
      ➢ Warrick County contributes 11.2% to pension fund & required 3% to Annuity Savings Account (ASA)
      ➢ Employee may contribute up to 10% of net income in addition to above
   • Employee eligible for enrollment in Deferred Compensation with Hoosier Start
      ➢ Two (2) options available for contribution based on selection by employee
