Area Plan Commission



Due to the Executive Order issued by the Governor of Indiana, the Area Plan Commission Office shall be closed to the public until further notice.  The Area Plan Commission shall remain open to employees only and will continue regular business via phone, email, and drop box.  You may contact us at or 812-897-6190.

Improvement Location Permit applications may be emailed, mailed, or dropped off in the drop box outside of the south doors.  Please make sure to provide a phone number and email to be able to contact you or a representative.  The required fee must be mailed or dropped off in the form of a check.  Permits will be mailed to the applicant once they are reviewed.

For any questions regarding applications (zoning, variance, special uses, subdivisions, signs, etc.) please call or email and we will work with you to get through this process.
